Rotarian and Supertintendent of Orange County Public Schools Dr. Cecil Snead writes: 

"I'm excited to have Dr. Nora Coleman, Coordinator of Special Education for Orange County Public Schools, present her response to student need as a result of the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. She will take us on a journey through the creation of the nascent Orange County (OC) Cares Task Force. Additionally, she will share actions that have bolstered our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) response for students. There have been many facets of our educational system that we've rehoned and addressed to keep our students engaged and connected. The SEL response and collective energy within the OC Cares Task Force are paramount to OCPS moving forward in a thoughtful and measured manner to keep our students engaged; not just during the pandemic, but beyond."

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. It has 59 chartered associations  (50 states + 9 countries) O'Brian Martin represents the chartered association of Virginia DECA. which has approximately 13,000 members spanning across state lines. DECA Inc as a whole has 225,000 members worldwide.
