Community Collaboration
The AgeWise Orange Community Education Series is developed in collaboration with local organizations and community partners committed to supporting older adults, caregivers, and families in Orange County.
Programs are designed to reflect community needs and are guided by input from partner organizations and subject-matter experts.
Program Purpose & Impact
AgeWise Orange is a community-based education initiative sponsored by the Rotary Club of Orange, VA, designed to support older adults, caregivers, families, and community members through accessible, practical education.
The Education Series provides free, bi-monthly programs addressing topics such as aging, safety, dementia awareness, caregiver support, and available community services. Programs are developed and delivered in collaboration with local professionals and partner organizations to ensure relevance, accessibility, and responsiveness to community needs.
By increasing awareness, strengthening community knowledge, and promoting supportive practices, the Education Series helps older adults remain informed, engaged, and connected, while supporting caregivers and strengthening community-wide capacity to respond to aging-related challenges.
